Where did you grow up?

Goa, India and London.

How did that place influence your music? (if at all!)

Coming to London and getting a better education, studying music, performing gigs in Ealing really helped.

Where are you based now, and why?

West London

What got you into making music in the first place?

I started making music after being part of choir and my band at school. Music got me closer to myself and helped me figure out things I didn’t know about myself, and I hope people can get closer to their own selves through my music.

Gracie Abrams
She’s such an amazing pop singer who has inspired my lyrics and melodies in most of my songs.

I use my journal and experiences when writing songs

Why did you get into playing them in the first place?

To get closer to different people and engage with different people.

What advice would you give new performers who are just starting out playing their first open mics?

Go for it, it’s all in your head. Don’t doubt your talent.

What’s the hardest thing, for you, about playing open mics?

Being nervous of whether people will like my songs.

Yes

What do you currently find the hardest and biggest obstacles to moving your music career forward?

Getting myself out of my comfort zone.
