In a place like Ireland, where it rains every day, you get busy with indoor activities. Plus, think of all the songs about rain. Need I say any more?

What got you into making music in the first place?

It has always served as a creative outlet in a strangely cathartic way.

What process, or processes, do you often find yourself using when you write songs?

I take inspiration from things that people say in conversation, whether that be something said directly to me or something that I overhear. I find that an expression can have a certain rhythmic and melodic quality that lends itself to song.

Why did you get into playing them in the first place?

To play some new songs and to hear others do the same.
