Where did you grow up?

How did that place influence your music? (if at all!)

I grew up listening to a lot of local music and it definitely had an impact on my song writing process.

Where are you based now, and why?

A Little Town near Paris to be close to this amazing city and my family but still enjoying more peace and nature.

What got you into making music in the first place?

I’ve always wanted to play music.

The Cranberries, Dido, Joan Baez, First Aid Kit, Angus and Julia Stone, Norah Jones, Céline Dion.

What process, or processes, do you often find yourself using when you write songs?

I write the lyrics first or the music it really depends on the inspiration.

How long have you been playing open mic nights?

Why did you get into playing them in the first place?

I wanted to practice my songs in front of an audience.

What advice would you give new performers who are just starting out playing their first open mics?

Don’t be scared haha.

What’s the hardest thing, for you, about playing open mics?

Being totally confident but I try not to be too shy.

What’s the most bizarre, or fun, open mic, or gig, you’ve ever played, and why?

In Paris in Montmartre as there were a lots of people and I couldn’t hear myself.

If it’s not already, are you hoping to make music your full-time career?

Yes

What do you currently find the hardest and biggest obstacles to moving your music career forward?

Finding good people to work with and the money to pay good mix and mastering.

What’s the one truth about you that people often find surprising?

I’m a tomboy haha.

What’s the most exciting project you’re working on at the moment?

My set for the upcoming gigs.
