Why did you get into playing them in the first place?

I like performing at open mics as a way to connect with and attract a different audience and grow my fan base.

What advice would you give new performers who are just starting out playing their first open mics?

My advice for new artists is to release any inhibitions while performing and strive to remain true to themselves on stage.

What’s the hardest thing, for you, about playing open mics?

The most challenging aspect of performing at open mics is breaking free from self-doubt and anxiety about others’ opinions.

What’s the most bizarre, or fun, open mic, or gig, you’ve ever played, and why?

The most thrilling performance I’ve experienced was when I was alone on stage performing live, and my friend brought two girls from the audience to dance with me. Seeing them join me on stage and dance made me smile, and ultimately, they became my regular dancers after just a few months.
