Bavaria in Germany

How did that place influence your music? (if at all!)

Not much, but as a kid I was half a year in Chicago.

Where are you based now, and why?

Cologne, studied there.

What got you into making music in the first place?

Grunge and 90s Rock, fun and want to write songs and melodies.

Who would be in your top 10 musical influences, and why?

REM, Pearl Jam, Crowded House, Toad the wet sprocket, The Doors.

Yes

What process, or processes, do you often find yourself using when you write songs?

Losing a sense of time, hearing a lot of other music.

How long have you been playing open mic nights?

Why did you get into playing them in the first place?

I started to play as a solo musician.

What advice would you give new performers who are just starting out playing their first open mics?

Play a mix between original songs and covers to get noticed, at least in Germany.

What’s the hardest thing, for you, about playing open mics?

To speak much about me and my songs sometimes somehow.

What’s the most bizarre, or fun, open mic, or gig, you’ve ever played, and why?

Last time I played with my band in Bavaria at a metal festival outside and a heavy rain started, later a drunken old guy came with a balloon guitar and wanted that I sing Elvis.

If it’s not already, are you hoping to make music your full-time career?

Yes

What do you currently find the hardest and biggest obstacles to moving your music career forward?

To get perceived, gain new fans and find an audience with my style of music, especially in Germany, and from Germany abroad.

What’s the one truth about you that people often find surprising?

My name? Its the Hungarian version of Ethelbert.

What’s the most exciting project you’re working on at the moment?

My next singles and releasing.
