How did that place influence your music? (if at all!)
Growing up in Jeddah, next to the coast and sirene solitude of the mix of sounds and noise, of wild life, people and technology inspired my modern out look to the world, made me a true child of today’s generation. Although, the Classical Arabic music always made its way to my soul and engraved into my psyche a majestic tone and rythem that mixes with my love of western classical rock and punk. I usually perform to family and close friends; while they always give me great feedback of a tasteful multicultural vibe, I’m encouraged to share it with new minds that enjoy the common language of music.
Where are you based now, and why?
Based in London for the past 9 years, atm I’m in my last year PhD in mechanical engineering. London only inspired me further to pick up the guitar and have my own voice and rythem. The Londonisk culture encouraged me to find my individuality and made me feel comfortable sharing my musical language.
What got you into making music in the first place?
I guess it’s the feeling that it leaves within me, and the effect on people around me when I play it, or simply the way I bond with people over music, love the mystical groove it gives away.

How many years have you been writing songs for?

What process, or processes, do you often find yourself using when you write songs?
Lyrical inspiration come with practcing tunes usually. However, a lot of the time I get inspired by expereinces I go through or a world view that I believe in. I beleive in constructive meaningful critisicm, music writing can influence any mind, and it can be misunderstood at times, so using rock and punk I see a great opportunity for incentivising assertivness and prosperity.

Building a band with friends who have careers in arts and music.
