Many places from Sakhalin Island to the country of Georgia
How did that place influence your music? (if at all!)
Every place I’ve lived has left its mark on my music. From the lively beats of one culture to the soulful melodies of another, my journey across the world has woven a rich tapestry of ethnic sounds into my music, reflecting the diverse cultures and people I’ve encountered.
Where are you based now, and why?
Tbilisi, Georgia. London, UK
What got you into making music in the first place?
I wanted to be able to live through many stories and many lives. It is possible to do on the stage.

What process, or processes, do you often find yourself using when you write songs?
Writing and drawing, it helps to find right words.
How long have you been playing open mic nights?

Why did you get into playing them in the first place?
I wanted to be less afraid of the new audience.
What advice would you give new performers who are just starting out playing their first open mics?
Just do it. It can be scary, it can be not as pleasant as you think, but it is worth it.
What’s the hardest thing, for you, about playing open mics?
Audience who doesn’t listen to you. It happens.
What’s the most bizarre, or fun, open mic, or gig, you’ve ever played, and why?
I had the first open mic and NOBODY in the audience cared about what was going on. It was devastating. But then I realised that it is finally good – I can do mistakes and nobody cares.

Yes
What do you currently find the hardest and biggest obstacles to moving your music career forward?
I think that I make my limits and then can not go beyond them. I need to learn that all the limits are only in my head. And I actually can reach anything.
What’s the one truth about you that people often find surprising?
I am introvert.
What’s the most exciting project you’re working on at the moment?
I am going to stage the performance about Alexander Vertinsky. It will be both music and theatre performance.
