I usually start with lyrics when I write, and then when I find a line or an idea I like I sit down at my piano or pick up a guitar and work on the melody and the rest of the lyrics until I’m 100% happy with it – that’s when I take it to the studio and add whatever production suits the song the most.

Why did you get into playing them in the first place?
I haven’t played any open mics before but I’ve headlined venues in London like the Troubadour and the Dublin Castle, I really would like to play open mics though as I just love playing and performing live
