Alberto Ballico is an Italian Singer/Songwriter & Pianist.
He discovered his music talent at the tender age of 10, when he started playing the French Horn in his local brass band. It was also during this time that he started his rudimentary studies in music theory.

Ever since Alberto hasn’t looked back. He played piano and sang as lead in different collegecover bands and in the last years he has performed at various venues in and around London, Weddings, Proposals, Events, Public Venues, Private Parties etc., focusing exclusively in his solo career as a musician, singer/songwriter career.

Alberto is a very open-minded, positive and enthusiastic individual, who is eager to share his energy and thoughts through music.

20 years

What process, or processes, do you often find yourself using when you write songs?

I write music for people. For what makes them happy or sad or to ponder.

How long have you been playing open mic nights?

Why did you get into playing them in the first place?

It keeps the performing skills in a check and gets you going to keep getting better qt performing infront of people.

What advice would you give new performers who are just starting out playing their first open mics?

Do it and know your strength and weaknesses so you can build on them and become a better artist than you are today.

If it’s not already, are you hoping to make music your full-time career?

Yes

What do you currently find the hardest and biggest obstacles to moving your music career forward?

Networking with the right crowd or people

What’s the one truth about you that people often find surprising?

That I am very good at what I do.

What’s the most exciting project you’re working on at the moment?

My new song “You say” it’s unlike any of my songs vefore and the piano composition is harder than ones I have created before. Tthe hours of practice to perfect the piano solo has been very disciplining for me and that excites me.
