It’s been my life’s passion since 13. It’s the only vehicle I have to fully express myself. It’s a deep personal connection.

Singing, Rapping, Guitar

Who would be in your top 10 musical influences, and why?

My Bloody Valentine, Skepta, Slowdive, Radiohead, Jamie T, Danny Brown, King Krule. my sound is Indie/ Shoegaze mixed with Hip-Hop hence my differing influences.

Do you write your own songs?

Yes

How many years have you been writing songs for?

What process, or processes, do you often find yourself using when you write songs?

It changes per song. It’s either guitar or vocals first. I try to be adaptable creatively to avoid writers block.

Why did you get into playing them in the first place?

I’ve been playing in bands since 14/15 y/o so playing gigs is more than natural for me.

What advice would you give new performers who are just starting out playing their first open mics?

Enjoy it first and foremost otherwise why are you doing it? Do it for yourself! . Embrace your nerves. If you conquer them you become unstoppable.

What’s the hardest thing, for you, about playing open mics?

Technical difficulties. This is why it’s just my voice and electric guitar onstage. I love the natural approach these days.

What’s the most bizarre, or fun, open mic, or gig, you’ve ever played, and why?

My bassists headstock split my eyebrow on my teenage bands last ever show! A memory I’ll never forget!
