How did that place influence your music? (if at all!)

It influences me only I also sing in French!

Where are you based now?

What got you into making music in the first place?

I started singing just before Covid with my son’s music teacher. I always wanted to do it but I was always too shy and didn’t think it will bring me where I am today. Then I did some singing on Insta during Covid to entertain my family and friends that I couldn’t see; it was the first time I did live events on Instagram too. I don’t live with regrets and always like to push my boundaries to see where it brings me. Now I am loving it.

I like the style of music these musicians are making and they all correspond to different times in my life. I somehow relates to their music, lyrics and style.

Yes

How many years have you been writing songs for?

I just started two weeks ago so it is a bit early to say i am writting my own songs!

What process, or processes, do you often find yourself using when you write songs?

I write when I am inspired

Why did you get into playing open mic nights in the first place?

My vocal coach always said I should participate but didn’t think I was ready till now

What advice would you give new performers who are just starting out playing their first open mics?

That you will find the support you need to continue

What’s the hardest thing, for you, about playing open mics?

Remembering the lyrics and saying a few words before starting

What’s the most bizarre, or fun, open mic, or gig, you’ve ever played, and why?

Watching someone making non-interrupted poetry for their 10 minutes slot
